Wayne Gretzky's 20-year NHL career ended with his name attached to 61 individual records. Before moving to the Edmonton Oilers of the NHL in 1979, he played one season in the WHA at the tender age of 17. After 4 Stanley Cups with the Oilers, he was traded to Los Angeles, generating tremendous growth of hockey in the U.S. Playing 1,487 games in four cities, he set career plateaus of 894 goals, 1,963 assists and 2,857 points, while winning 10 Art Ross and 9 Hart Trophies.
